QUESTION:
How much do lessons cost?
ANSWER: Our
lessons are currently $24.00 per lesson. This is a half-hour private lesson.
In addition, there is a one-time registration fee of $25.00. Gibson Music
and Arts also recommend that students pay by four lessons. The rate for
4 lessons is $88.00.
QUESTION:
How many lessons do I take each week?
ANSWER: One lesson
a week is normal for most students. This allows you to have
enough time to practice and prepare for your next lesson.
QUESTION: Can I take more than one lesson a week?
ANSWER: Once a week
is considered often enough. If teacher feels you once need more
time, he/she may suggest a one hour lesson instead of half hour.
QUESTION: Must I bring my own instrument?
ANSWER: It is
always best to take your lessons on your own instrument. If you
have a problem occasionally bringing it, we do have some
instruments available to use. WIND INSTRUMENTS MUST ALWAYS BE
BROUGHT.
QUESTION: What if I miss a lesson?
ANSWER: If you let
the instructor know in advance, it is sometimes possible to
schedule you for a different day and time. If you do not give 24
hour notice, you are required to pay for the lesson. There are
some exceptions to this, but this is up to the individual
teacher.
QUESTION: Are lessons given certain times of the
year?
ANSWER: No we are
open all year round, and lessons are given every week.
QUESTION: Is there an age limit?
ANSWER: Minimum
starting age varies from instrument to instrument. There is no
maximum age. We welcome adult beginners.
